When Penguin Books best selling author Mahbod Seraji stunning debut, Rooftops of Tehran hit the bookshelves, it took the literary world by storm. The book received rave reviews from San Francisco chronicle, Minneapolis Star Tribune, Publishers Weekly and Booklist among others and catapulted Seraji’s book into many top sellers lists of the year.

With a book this successful, there is bound to be a lot of interest in the author and the book and in today’s age, the first stop for most curious readers and book reviewers is the internet. And so it becomes imperative that the book and the author are well represented on the web with a presence that not only espouses the book but also becomes an interactive medium between the author and the readers’ and between readers.

The Knack Group was hired with this very goal in mind. The brief was to create an interactive experience so that the author is able to reach out to his readers, and provide a forum so that author’s motivations and how the book came about form the basis of many meaningful discussions and readings.
